It is Pat’s Birthday today!  :-)  Wee Baby is so excited and ready to celebrate this special day!  We decided to take a picture with some balloons for her Daddy, but golly jeez man, it is nearly impossible by myself!  lol  All Wee Baby did was squeal in excitement and wanted to crawl across the bricks!  lol it was so cute and annoying at the same time.  I was pleading with her to sit still for 7 seconds so I can step back and take a picture! I tried jumping jacks, clapping, whistling, squeezing her squeaky toy, shouting WEEEEEEEEEEEEE baby!  hahahaaa and she barely noticed me.

All she noticed was the open area for her to explore!

Faith and Eban sent over a season of True Blood, I gave him a Slap Chop because we find it hysterical and laugh our butts off every time we see this video.  We saw the commercial on TV before it was remixed. Then one day I saw it on TV all mixed up with the random dancing bunny.  OMG I was floored and laughed so hard…    Pat and I laugh every time we watch it.    You are going to love his nuts!

Pat also received in the mail today an iced tea maker! He had been wanting one so bad for a couple years now. I think it is worthless devise.. why not just put some water in a pot, heat it, add tea bags, pour in picture and add ice. lol Anywho, back to Wee Baby!

Happy Happy Joy Joy! What a relaxing weekend. I decided to grab a couple pictures of me and Mariella. You know, since I only have like 10 pics of us together! lol

Wee Baby is reaching for us now.  She is also crawling.  Sitting. Pulling herself up.   Such a big girl..  I am thrilled she is accomplishing so many milestones.  Yet I am so heart broken that those moments have come and gone already.  My mom said it would go by quick…  but I had no idea.  I could live in this moment for a lifetime.  Sweetness everywhere I look.   Here a smile, there a spit-bubble, everywhere a giggle and a squeal.  Life is so sweet and I am enjoying every single moment spending it with my Wee Baby Girl.

Laughter…  a baby’s laugh makes everything ok.   I adore how Mariella loves everything.  All she knows is happy.

The outing would not be complete with out a picture of Wee Baby and her daddy!  The last picture make me so happy!  It makes me cry just seeing that smile Pat is giving Mariella.  He loves her so much…  Daddy’s little Wee Baby.

What are our amazing family plans for this Saturday?  Staying home, playing, loving, sharing and enjoying our simple life as a family.  The kids, Pat and Wee Baby, decided to surf the internet with their laptops and enjoy the lazy afternoon.  Well, Wee Baby was on her laptop and noticed how Pat’s laptop was a bit shinier and she decided to use that one instead.  Photos on Flickr too.

Of course Daddy switched laptops with his little princess.  Anything for Wee Baby.  They both settle in with their new laptops.

Wee Baby is harvesting her strawberries in FarmVille and Daddy Pat is trying to figure out which one is the “oval.”

Daddy said “look Wee Baby, I found the oval!”  Wee Baby looks over and gives her words of encouragement, “way to go Daddy!”

Wee Baby said “look Daddy!  I googled toys and I want this one”

Mommy said “better not be shopping online again kids!” Busted both of them..  lol they look so cute!

It was a wonderful Saturday.  A day filled with little things that make up this big thing called LOVE!  And I am full of it.  Full of love that is!  I love my baby girl.  My husband.  I love to see them play.  I love when Wee Baby slobbers on Pats laptop.  :-)  And I love watching Pat clean it up like it is no big deal.  Just a little spilled milk on my 400 dollar place-mat. Such is life. Slobber happens!

Wee Baby found her toes this week!  lol  She has been playing with them…  eating them for breakfast…  and just having a good ole time with them.  I told Pat to be ready and to prepare himself for the toe sucking.   Pat said “my baby is not going to suck her toes.”  and I was like Oh yeah she will!  lol

I love the picture where she looks surprised… like Daddy busted her sucking on her toes!  heheeheheheeeee

And tonight Wee Baby had oatmeal and this was the first time Pat fed her.  He was a natural. He also let her hold the spoon and the bowl!  We had a huge mess!  Thanks Daddy!

Mariella is becoming such a big girl  Tonight she was holding her own bottle!  :-)  She will pull it out of her mouth….  look at it…  grab the nipple and try to bring the nipple to her mouth and suck, but she winds up sucking her hand because she is grabbing the nipple!  lol She is so cute! 

She is also LOVING her activity center we found her in North Carolina.  I am so happy I bought this thing!  Thanks so much to her Parran, Eban.   Eban and Pat was on their way to the store and Eban came back inside and told us there was a garage sale next door.   We headed over and at first I didn’t want to buy it because I thought it was old and faded.  But then Darlene pointed out it is pastel!  lol  So I bought it for 10 bucks!  What a deal, these sell for 90 bucks online!  :-)  and Mariella loves loves loves it.  She can stay in there playing for a good hour before she is read to get out.  I honestly don’t know what I would be doing with her if I didn’t have the activity center!  lol

She is wearing a cute little outfit MeMaw got her… she was so comfortable wearing this.. it is thin and cotton and she had so much freedom!

Wee Baby was just chillin with Pat… She does not sit still like this with me. She sat there for a good 20 minutes! Pat was super sleepy.. he must have been giving off some sleepy vibes or something! lol

Mariella turned 4 months yesterday and she was such a big girl this morning for Easter! Last night I got her basket ready and put lots of cute goodies in it! Easter morning began at 8 am. I went into the kitchen to make a bottle ( wasn’t even thinking about Easter) and Pat went to change her diaper and get her ready for the day. I am in the kitchen… zoning out.. and Pat comes in holding Mariella and brought her straight to her Easter basket! “Look what the Easter Bunny brought you Wee Baby! Mommy worked so hard on your pretty basket!” My eyes just filled up with tears… my beautiful daughter… her first Easter… and her loving Daddy making sure she saw her Basket first thing… ~ so happy!

We gave her a bath and we all went to Target. Well Target was closed, so we walked up and down the shopping center for a good couple of hours. We went into Old Navy and I purchased Wee Baby her first pair of jeans. We went to Safeway grocery store and sat down and enjoyed a cup of Starbucks coffee. The sun was bright and it was so beautiful outside!

We found a pretty silk Easter dress for Wee Baby at Macy’s last week. She is so cute wearing this dress! We all went outside by the river and set up the tripod to try and take a family photo. We didn’t do so bad and I actually love the pictures we got!

Spring is here!  :-)  Me, Pat and Wee Baby decided to celebrate and venture out to the Patapsco Valley State Park. The weather was absolutely beautiful!  We stopped at subway to get a 5 dollar foot long for us to share, and we sat at a picnic table and enjoyed the sound of the river and fresh air.  I was a tiny bit disseminated because I forgot things were not green yet.  In my head, I pictured Wee Baby  hanging out with us on a blanket on the grass… playing and having a good ole time!  But things were still dead…  and brown..  and winter like.

We still had a wonderful time.  We all had lunch and then we went for a nice walk around the park.

Happy Spring is here!  I can’t wait for the trees to get leaves and the flowers to bloom!

S P R I N G ~ S P R I N G ~ S P R I N G

We all went for a ride to bring Uncle Gordon to the airport.  We had a nice trip out and Wee Baby and I were playing in the back seat.  She was totally cute like always!  There is a video clip at the bottom of this post of her sucking her fingers!   She was sleepy but happy.  I love the picture on the left of her blowing the spit bubbles!  It is so darn cute!  She is drooling like crazy now.

Slobber here slobber there every where slobber slobber!  :-)  Gotta love the slobber though!  Pat is like GOOD GAWD GIRL, where is all that drool coming from.  I tried to warn him that he has not seen nothing yet.  Wait till she starts teething!   LOL  he is going to freak out!

After the day out…  well ok, more like an hour.  hahhaaaa After the hour out and about, we got to our apartment and it was time to wind down.   Pat and Wee Baby often play on the laptop together, play PS3 or xbot, and of course watch the big screen.    I didn’t think I had to worry about Mariella getting hooked to the television……    but……      just look at her wanting to change the station!  LOL  Oh my goodness, they are already fighting for the remote!

7 minutes of her being her…  she was supposed to be going to sleep.  But she decided to stay awake and play.  She probably would have fallen asleep, but I couldn’t resist those squeaky squealy noises she was making.  It went on for several minutes before I started the video.  Then it just continued on.  I actually cut the video in half!  LOL  yeah, I love my baby and she is just so sweet all the damn time I just have to share!

and yes I know these movies files are huge!  no time to fix…  just enjoy! LOL
