Happy Happy Joy Joy! What a relaxing weekend. I decided to grab a couple pictures of me and Mariella. You know, since I only have like 10 pics of us together! lol

Wee Baby is reaching for us now.  She is also crawling.  Sitting. Pulling herself up.   Such a big girl..  I am thrilled she is accomplishing so many milestones.  Yet I am so heart broken that those moments have come and gone already.  My mom said it would go by quick…  but I had no idea.  I could live in this moment for a lifetime.  Sweetness everywhere I look.   Here a smile, there a spit-bubble, everywhere a giggle and a squeal.  Life is so sweet and I am enjoying every single moment spending it with my Wee Baby Girl.

Laughter…  a baby’s laugh makes everything ok.   I adore how Mariella loves everything.  All she knows is happy.

The outing would not be complete with out a picture of Wee Baby and her daddy!  The last picture make me so happy!  It makes me cry just seeing that smile Pat is giving Mariella.  He loves her so much…  Daddy’s little Wee Baby.

Wee Baby has a fabulous new play area!  It is safe, colorful, full of toys and big enough for the whole family to get in and play! She was playing around looking all cute in her monkey pajamas that her MeMaw gave her.  I jumped in to play and tried to get a few pictures of us.  Although I spend every moment of my day with Wee Baby, I don’t have many pictures of us together.  Whaaaaat?  She is 7 and 1/2 months old and I only have like a handfull of us together.  Crazy I know.  I want to get some more pics of us and will try more frequetnetly to capture some  mommy daughter moments.

Mariella, seriously….  you make me so happy.  So much beauty in the world when I see your sweet smile!

Being a mom is different than I imagined it…   It is brighter, better and more beautiful than anything I have ever experienced.  I didn’t know a love like this could possibly exist.  How can a spitbubble make me cry?  Or little toes make my heart melt.  I smile so hard when I see her reaching for something small, like a polk-a-dot on her pants, she uses her index finger and points and scrapes as if trying to pick it up.  I adore when she pushes herself off her belly and her right hand is turned inward and upside down…

What are our amazing family plans for this Saturday?  Staying home, playing, loving, sharing and enjoying our simple life as a family.  The kids, Pat and Wee Baby, decided to surf the internet with their laptops and enjoy the lazy afternoon.  Well, Wee Baby was on her laptop and noticed how Pat’s laptop was a bit shinier and she decided to use that one instead.  Photos on Flickr too.

Of course Daddy switched laptops with his little princess.  Anything for Wee Baby.  They both settle in with their new laptops.

Wee Baby is harvesting her strawberries in FarmVille and Daddy Pat is trying to figure out which one is the “oval.”

Daddy said “look Wee Baby, I found the oval!”  Wee Baby looks over and gives her words of encouragement, “way to go Daddy!”

Wee Baby said “look Daddy!  I googled toys and I want this one”

Mommy said “better not be shopping online again kids!” Busted both of them..  lol they look so cute!

It was a wonderful Saturday.  A day filled with little things that make up this big thing called LOVE!  And I am full of it.  Full of love that is!  I love my baby girl.  My husband.  I love to see them play.  I love when Wee Baby slobbers on Pats laptop.  :-)  And I love watching Pat clean it up like it is no big deal.  Just a little spilled milk on my 400 dollar place-mat. Such is life. Slobber happens!

Commando crawling is her specialty right now.  She gets up real good on her hands and knees, then bobbles and wobbles and falls to her belly.  That doesn’t stop her though ….   off she goes!    Such a big girl!

In a failed attempt to block her from the kitchen and office area, we used our storage boxes as a room divider.  It worked for a bit, but for the grown ups in the house it was a bummer to keep hurdling over these road blocks!   I pushed a couple boxes apart,  just wide enough to get my legs through and I thought I was being a clever mom in doing so.

Well she found that opening straight away and made a dash for it.   She was like a kitty cat squeezing through a too small of a space, but she made it through!  Bad mommy for laughing at her, it was just too cute to see her squirm her way through the opening!

Mariella is a fantastic explorer! She pokes her fingers into tiny crevasses, including my nostrils.  She decided to explore the underside of her activity center.  Again and again and again.  She got stuck the first time and I thought she wouldn’t go back.  I think it was a challenge for her, something for her to conquer.  And conquer she did!  She is a daring and happy Wee Baby Explorer!

It is time to put this semi-mobile baby in a confined space!  lol just teasing.  I did search for something fun and colorful for her to play in and not feel confined to a small space.  I found the playzone and bought two of them.  They are colorful and plastic and fun and she just loves it so much!

The first time she saw it, I sat her in the middle of it and she just looked around smiling.   Probably saying thank you Mommy and Daddy for giving me a safe play area to roam around in!   She is totally welcome too, it was time for something besides boxes!

Mommy ~ “Here you go Mariella!”

Wee Baby ~ “Now what Mommy?”

Don’t worry, I didn’t just let her fend for herself!  I filled the playzone up with toys and trinkets and we both played for the rest of the afternoon.

Happy 4th of July!

Wee Baby Celebrates her first forth of July! We spent it in North Carolina with her Nanny and Parran. The pictures below were actually taken right after the 4th…. BUT at least I took them with in weeks time! lol …. what? I am a busy mom! hahaaaa Wee Baby will surly forgive me. I’ll be on top of things for the next holiday… what is it anyway?

Wee Baby, Pat and I went to North Carolina to visit Faith and Eban! (Wee Baby’s Godparents) We had such a wonderful visit! Wee Baby got to play outside, pet the doggies, sleep late and lounge around all day. Only bad thing is that the weekend went by too fast!
Well while we were there, I had Wee Baby’s Nanny and Parran help out with some photos. I needed Nanny to hold the umbrella, Parran to create the rain, Daddy to make her smile and me to take the pictures…
phew! It is hard work trying to get a cute pic! lol not really. Any picture of Mariella is a cute picture!

Thanks to Candice, Kevin and Austin for giving Wee Baby her first pair of Rain Boots! They look so adorable on her and she loved them too….. well all she really wanted to do was chew on them! LOL

Today was gloomy….  I decided to take Wee Baby outside anyway for a little walk.  She must have been in a blah mood  because I could not get a smile out of her! LOL grrrr I was trying so hard and she looked so cute in her hat.  She has been so camera shy this last week!  I am going to do this photo shoot again. She is just too cute in this hat and I want some of her all giggly and smiling!

Ever since DADDY let her have at the spoon and bowl a few nights ago…. it is impossible to feed this baby without her DIVING into her dinner!  lol  She is all over that cereal like a stink in a diaper!  heheeee  She is just too cute not to let her have at it.  She takes a bath right after dinner, so I figure “ah well” she will eventually get it into her mouth!

A special thanks to Pat for not feeding her since he taught her to use her whole body to have some dinner.  Funny how he disappears at dinner time now….  hummm.

Yesterday during Wee Baby’s dinner, Pat let her play with the bowl and spoon and boy oh boy dis she make a mess!  lol She had fun, and she is learning and loves to hold the spoon.  It makes dinner time a dirty chaotic event! heheeeee I don’t mind though… these messes won’t last forever and it is sooooooo adorable to watch her.
