Happy New Year! Our first New Year’s Eve as a family. Mariella went down for a nap around 10:30 pm and Pat and I stayed up playing the Sony PlayStation. Well Pat played and I watched, I like to just hang out and watch him play and get trophies! Anyway. We didn’t even realize the time until it was 11:59 PM and I was like look at the time! Wait for it! Wait for it!
we counted out loud 3-2-1.. then we tried 6-5-4-3-2-1.. then we just went 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 until the digital clock on the DVR went to 12:00!
Happy New Year! We kissed on the couch and talked about what we hope the new year will bring us…. and a few minutes later Mariella woke up and wanted to join the party! After she had dinner at the all you can eat buffet, Pat held her and rested on the couch for a bit. I got up to make some hot tea for us and by the time I got back, they took up the whole couch and Mariella was sleeping like a precious little Wee Baby Angel…. so sweet. Pat was adorable too. Holding his daughter… it was around 1:30 am… so I sat on the floor, drank my hot tea and admired my beautiful husband and daughter sleeping on the couch. I counted my blessings, cried and thanked God for bring us all together.
