Mariella is a week old today! Everything has been such a blur….. it is hard to believe just a 8 days ago, my water broke and I was in labor for like 28 hours!!!!! Oh goodness!
Well today, I got her all dressed up and we were going to go walk the hallways in the building….. BUT right when we were fixing to leave, a poo poo diaper….. then she decided she wanted to eat again, and by the time she finished eating, she was tired and fell asleep! So we didn’t get to go walking today… maybe tomorrow!
Paw Paw Huey is here! I am so happy that my dad was able to come up and visit… this is his first grandchild in over 21 years! :-) Mariella was all calm and cozy hanging out with Paw Paw.

Thanks Darlene! I keep going back and forth with her hair too ~ the nurses said it was a strawberry blond… but with the sun sometimes it looks more red brown…
time will tell!
